Vivienne Westwood
Vivienne Westwood started her career in 1971 with a shop called Let it Rock in London with her new crush Malcom McLaren, the future manager of Sex Pistols. The designer with her clothes represented the turning point and rebirth of English creativity, using in a sarcastic way the symbols of British society and its traditional fashion. The shop took several names over the years, following Vivienne's stylistic evolution. The first fashion show was in 1971 inspired by street culture and young world. Today she carries on the same values of rebellion, environmental commitment and freedom.
